Hello fellas, how’re you doing? Good?
I’m finally back in action after Yellow September, SAGE 2023, and my work vacations!
The launch of BrazSonic 20XX was well received by the public, with some gameplay on YouTube and SAGE in particular. However, as it was a somewhat troubled launch, carried out quickly, the game was not free from bugs and technical failures.
During these days, I had great support from the YouTube community and especially from Discord (Special Thanks to Black (GUI), Matheus MSP and PVic, from Ednaldo Pereira Mescladasso, where they had reports of problems with the BrazSonic 20XX experience, from small bugs (like graphical glitches) to giant ones (which prevent you from finishing the game for example)!
After intense work correcting these flaws, and making small implementations to improve gameplay, I am finally releasing the BrazSonic 20XX update, version 1.1.0.
So, what’s new here?
Just to give you an idea, a glimpse of what has been corrected so far:
- When collecting all 7 emeralds, a fatal error occurred, which prevented the game from being reset.
- In story mode: sometimes the character selection bugged the physics
- Some skill upgrades were quite broken
- Jump, super, and water physics were broken
- They had level layouts that were almost impossible to pass
- Bosses were previously very difficult to defeat, and shots (from some characters) did not work
- Bugged cutscenes with inconsistent texts
- And much more in the changelog of this version, check it out here!
Newer implementations/smaller features
- Now the game checks if there are updates available to download
- Challenge Mode: now available after beating the game, I made some corrections because they were impossible before
- Settings: Configurable HUD, Super Music, Camera
There really were a lot of corrections, and there may be more to do over time, even though the game has recently been released, as not everything is perfect! I’ll be releasing it from time to time.
There may be some new things in this project along the way.
But now with update detection, things will get easier for everyone!
Alright, but how about the Android Version?
As I said before, my focus here is to keep the Windows PC version as stable as possible, and this ended up delaying the release of the Android version.
So far, there are no plans to release it, but don’t worry and be patient, it won’t be left out! 😉
Any news, I will let you all know here, stay well!
