BrazSonic X Shadow Generations?

Hello BrazSonic-fans HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We got some news here! In this latest update, even with the lack of time for the project, I decided on something really big, not only to celebrate the success of Sonic X Shadow Generations, the end-of-year holidays, and New Year’s, but also these 6 years since the release of BrazSonic 20XX!

Now you can acquire Shadow the Hedgehog, that’s right, to play in the BrazSonic levels, both on Windows and Android.

Shadow not only comes with custom animations, but also with his signature abilities, such as Chaos Spear (energy blast); Chaos Control (time-stopping power), Homing Attack, and even the boost from modern games.

And of course, to adapt to the mechanics of BraSonic 20XX, his gameplay was based on 3 buttons; here’s the list of commands (based on the PC version):

  • Homing Attack: Jump + jump. This special homing attack makes him teleport to nearby enemies. It also works on bosses.
  • Chaos Spear: Ctrl (press and release)
  • Chaos Control: Hold for a while until it charges to 100% and release. Time temporarily stops. The game mechanics were adapted for this; it even stops everything that moves: enemies, shots, bosses, etc.
  • Boost: Shift, the same boost as Sonic and Metal BraSonic, but here using a different button.

Space Colony Ark

It’s a 2D version of the Ark, combining the best of both Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic X Shadow Generations. It features completely new background art, interesting mechanics like rotating tubes and missiles that can be used as platforms with Chaos Control, and much more.

Master Maze

This extra stage is inspired by the Master System-exclusive minigame, Snail Maze, which involves navigating mazes within a set time. Here, those insane mazes have been adapted so you can use speed to your advantage, and of course, if you don’t follow the right path, it’s very easy to get lost.

Millenium Sandbox

This was made in homage to the Game Maker dev scene of the 2000s, which I had the pleasure of frequenting and learning a lot from. It has a more vertical layout; shenanigans from that era, such as the retro backgrounds made by Ari Feldman; enemy animations taken from Game Maker 5 tutorials; and some memes.
