For who haven’t played BrazSonic 1, it is avaliable for download on this website. BrazSonic 1 was released on 2004 for Windows.
BrazSonic, the “national hedgehog”, was developed in few months using Game Maker 5.3 on that time, a well used Windows gamedev tool with many possibilities.
The 00s Sonic the Hedgehog online communities, such as Power Sonic Forum, Portal Sonic and Sonic Fangames HQ were very important for this game divulgation and feedback.
The game reception were considerably good, with hundreds of thousands downloads and also acknowledgment of some internet portals.
Despite being a “little outdated”, BrazSonic 1 will be avaliable for download anytime. Check it out for info and download.
Some years after, as an attempt to build a legacy for BrazSonic, I started a sequel project which failed after some years of work. Although BrazSonic is finally back on a “new” and better game.
