Unlike BrazSonic, from 2004, which had been an unpretentious parody, BrazSonic 20XX has a different context, a more atemporal plot, new main antagonist and challenges and the same satire scheme as the original one.
The game plot happens on Brazil, in the year 20XX (some year of 21th century). Thanks to a initiative promoted by the lunatic congressman Ivo Corruptnik, leads and sends an huge army of armed robots, called Corruptbots, to sweep the corruption, criminals and every nation oppositiors away.
Actually, those war machines, instead of fighting the crime, they started to attacking citizens, robbing and just bringing the destruction to the places.
All this war is only a smoke curtain to disguise their quest to find the legendary 7 Corruption Emeralds, magic gems, of unknown origin, when gathered can give an extreme power for its owner.
And the rest of the government does not seem to be worried about this situation…
Among this crisis, BrazSonic, the protagonist, comes right just after a fight with random bullies to another against the Corruptbots.
After beating them without difficulties, he sees that little animals (birds, puppies, capybaras and others) comes out from their scraps, what means that the critters had been hostages by the bots.
After releasing them, more Corruptbots appear, and BrazSonic take the chore to fight against them and find out by himself the reason behind all this chaos going on a new journey with many challenges and surprises.
